Your first “moving experience”             
My dad worked for an agent of Atlas Van Lines, doing weekend commercial jobs. Naturally, I joined in that weekend work alongside him.

Some of your best career “moves”
I did everything from work as a mover on the trucks, to packing and pushing dollies.  I eventually took a position in the office being trained in COD Sales and Origin Surveys.  After 3 years, I opened Advantage Moving & Storage as a local mover only.  In 1989, Advantage joined the Wheaton Van Lines family and became a local and long distance mover.

Your first “moving experience”             
I worked weekends on office moves for my father’s company.  Let’s just say I was affordable labor when my dad needed help!

Some of your best career “moves”
From 1985 to 1989, I focused on growing the household goods side of our business.  Eventually, I also took on commercial and installation sales as well.  Since 2003, I’ve been leading our commercial, hospitality, and installation sales and am proud to be a principal in this great company.

Your first “moving experience”             
I actually worked with Mike for two years when he first opened Advantage.

Some of your best career “moves”
I came back to work for Advantage in 1996.  I serve as Account Manager and Field Supervisor for major, repeat customers, and I also develop new accounts and project manage those jobs to ensure those clients keep coming back.  I’m a principal in Advantage Moving & Storage.

Your first “moving experience”             
After 25 years in business management, I decided to explore other industries and landed at Advantage Moving & Storage as a Commercial Sales Associate.

Some of your best career “moves”
Since coming to Advantage, I’ve enjoyed playing an important role in our growing success.  I specialize in commercial accounts.  Not only do I develop new business, I also make sure we’re taking great care of our existing client base.  We put service first and consider ourselves to truly be partners with our commercial accounts.

Your first “moving experience”             
I began doing commercial weekend work for the Atlas Van Line company my stepbrother worked for—packing, loading and unloading.

Some of your best career “moves”
I stayed with the Atlas agent for 12 years, until they closed their doors. I then took my experience to Century Moving, Ace Atlas and even to Interconnex, where I spent 10 years as warehouse labor, warehouse manager, facility manager and customer service/international surveyor.  Now at Advantage, I am responsible for household goods sales.

Your first “moving experience”             
I was hired by Advantage Moving & Storage through a temp agency, for a short term assignment providing office help. 

Some of your best career “moves”
The temporary assignment led to a permanent appointment!  I’ve been Office Manager for Advantage Moving & Storage since August 1996.

Your first “moving experience”             
My husband was an owner-operator of a moving business. One day, his help didn’t show up for a pack job...and the rest is history!

Over the years, I’ve been there, moved that!  I’ve worked in all aspects of the industry including packing, loading, driving, move coordination for national accounts, C.O.D., high value products, operations, international relocations, office and industrial and appliance distribution.
